BMW PGA Championships

CHALLENGE

To showcase BMW’s extensive range and create a new and exciting range of experiences for fans in The Championship Village each year in order to drive leads and engagements.

SOLUTION

For the last 13 years TRO have been BMW’s chosen partner to bring to life their headline partnership with the BMW Championship. From hospitality and owner experiences through to the design and build of the overall fan village concepts, we have been the brand’s trusted end to end partner.

Recent highlights include 2018’s X-Bridge which comprised two key elements: an three hole urban crazy golf experiences around which we showcased multiple models from the X range, and X Rooftop, the Village’s newest bar which offered a premium elevated experience for key guests with 360 views of the whole site.

For 2019 we evolved the experience by creating the striking, sculptural BMW Dome which housed experiences including a mini Formula E race track, talent talks, VIP hospitality, VR experiences and live screening of the golf. BMW also wanted to reward their owners with additional perks so for the first time we ran an owners’ i3 shuttle service around the course as well as hospitality with catering and phone charging facilities out on course.

Almost 110,000 visitors enjoyed the BMW PGA tournament in 2019 and over 26,000 spent 15 mins per area engaging with BMW activations.
