We helped Ooni grab a slice of the food festival action, giving audiences hands-on experience with their pioneering pizza ovens


Ooni ‘Make Pizza’


Ooni are a rapidly growing brand across the world, and in order to continue to spread the word in the UK, they wanted to launch their first experiential activation to let people see and experience the magic of cooking in an Ooni for themselves as part of their ‘Make Pizza’ campaign.


We wanted to create a memorable experience that both engaged and excited audiences, with the pioneering pizza-making process at the heart of it. The end goal was for everyone to walk away from their Ooni experience having had a “wow moment”.

With just a month between initial briefing and going live, we created a simple, quick and stylish experience – reflecting the pizza ovens USPs – which we took to Taste of London, European Pizza and Pasta Show and The Big Feastival, giving people the chance for a hands-on, guided masterclass with a tasty Ooni pizza to take away at the end.

We achieved this by producing and operating a single, modular event kit that was not only visually impactful, but also flexible as it could be adapted to suit each event. The kit consisted of branded walls, storage, masterclass demo stations, seating, product display and foliage dressing – all of which was produced to the highest of standards

Our talented TRO Staffing brand ambassadors were on hand to facilitate our in-demand masterclasses, ensuring over 600 pizza enthusiasts had an immersive and memorable experience with Ooni this summer!

This was our first experience working with TRO and it was an amazing partnership. Emma and team were problem solvers from day one, with no task too big or small for them to get stuck into, resulting in seamless project management and execution. They understood the brief and brought exciting and innovative ideas to the table to compliment the creative vision we were looking to achieve.
