From captivating installations to immersive brand activations, the realm of experiential marketing is bursting with brands being brought to life in new and awe-inspiring ways.
With huge TV and entertainment finales in the spotlight, and a focus on trending topics including health and wellness, here are some of the best examples of how brands have recently used experiential marketing to tap into cultural moments around the world.
The Traitors immersive experience
Love The Traitors? US fans of the hit TV show got a chance to put their own skills to the test in LA, with an immersive experience which popped up for two weekends only.
Set in a sprawling manor in Arlington Heights, participants who were lucky enough to secure tickets were made to feel like they were part of their own show, with set design and challenges all mirroring the ‘real’ experience.
It’s yet another example of media companies bringing their big launches to life through experiential. Fancy your chances? More here.

KIND Snacks’ Faux Wellness Store
January was the month for new year’s resolutions to be put into practice (and often broken, too). Health and diet-related pledges regularly top the list, which KIND Snacks tapped into with their Californian pop-up.
Launching on Quitter’s Day, the day by which most Americans have quit their New Year’s resolutions, the ‘Better You by Lana’ pop-up – named after the actress, Lana Condor, the brand partnered with to create the event – invited consumers to ‘shut out the noise’ of the many health-related messaged flying around and ‘trust their tastebuds’.
With product sampling, fun photo opportunities and interactive experiences, it was a pop-up that ticked a lot of experiential boxes. More here.

Jump inside a JUBEL billboard
100 lucky people got the chance to jump inside a billboard with this homage to the iconic Carlsberg pint-pouring poster.
Launched in London to encourage human connection in one of the loneliest months of the year, your sample – poured from the front of the billboard – became your ticket to the secret party, which was packed out within an hour.
The limited tickets, the experience design and structure and the timing all came together to create an experience that drove hype and brand fandom. More here.
